About Us
Nina and Michael Vecchi travel the North East providing Sacred Sound Meditations, Yoga classes and Workshops.
Nina Vecchi is a life long musician. Since a very young age she intuitively connected with music and song. She has composed original folk and kirtan music and uses spirit to guide her in playing cosmic music through crystal and Himalayan singing bowls and gongs. Her first love continues to be guitar music though she has come to enjoy percussion and harmonium instrumentals.
Nina enjoys helping others find their voice and supports local musicians through kirtan and “Sacred Sound Journeys” along with monthly sound healing events at various venues. She encourages people to find their true inner selfs through yoga, mantra, and breath work. She enjoys working with senior populations providing music, movement, and meditation classes at local senior centers, assisted living and long term care facilities.
Nina holds certificates in the following:
Certified Yoga Teacher
Therapeutic Music, CMP (Certified Music Practitioner)
Sound Healing Therapies (400 hour certification)
Reiki II
Level IV VSM (vibrational sound massage)
Acutonics Level 3
She attends regular workshops and classes in various healing and sound modalities that compliment her practice.
Nina’s other passions include outreach for a compassionate world through vegan cooking classes, and ahimsa yoga events. She is a certified World Peace Diet facilitator.
Michael Vecchi is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT500) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS). I completed my initial training at Frog Pond Yoga Centre – Princeton, MA in the classical and traditional Raja Yoga. The practices of Raja Yoga place emphasis on integration of breath, body and mind to promote spiritual growth.
I started the yoga practice for stress reduction and physical therapy which developed into a great passion for yoga and learning about the practice. My passion has evolved over the years and continues to grow as I integrate the “Yoga” practice into my life and daily activities. I am also a graduate of the “Hits The Spot Yoga Advanced Teacher Training 500-hour Certification Program” registered with Yoga Alliance. I studied at Solar Hill Yoga in Brattleboro Vermont with Scott Willis along with another wonderful group of “Yogis” from the area. Scott draws on his years of teaching and study along with his primary influences of Anusara, Kripalu, Iyengar Style, and Insight Meditation.
Mike has also completed level II gong training and participates in providing individual energy clearings during events. He uses all of his experiences to provide a safe place for people to relax and heal.
